This is a legal agreement. Please read it carefully. By accessing and/or using and/or signing up for a membership and/or the services (as defined below), you are accepting and agreeing to these terms. You represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to accept and agree to these terms. If you do not accept and agree to these terms in their entirety, you do not have the right to purchase a membership or access the services (as defined below). Any future update, addition, or limitation to any or all of the services (as defined below) shall be subject to these terms.
Your use of the space is an at will license which we may revoke at any time, for any reason. This is not a lease or a sublease.
Members of all levels may use any of the designated shared workstations on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no guarantee of availability of workspace on a given day/time. Access to the space is limited as defined by your membership level, subject to open hours, which may change at our discretion (we will attempt to give you notice).
Coworking: A member with a Coworking Membership may access Gamma Space during regular operating hours.
Community: Community members may access Gamma Space during regular operating hours for a maximum of one 1 day per calendar month, unless additional Day Passes are purchased.
Member must indicate the date the Day Pass (the “Access Date”) will be used, and may only use the Day pass on the Access Date. No refunds or credits will be made if a member does not access Gamma Space on the Access Date.
Usage is calculated on a monthly basis. Unused days do not roll over.
Memberships are only for individuals, and may not be shared with or transferred to anyone else.
You may use one workstation solely for your own purposes deemed appropriate by us.
External monitors are not to be used in the coworking space.
There is no guarantee of availability of workspace on a given day/time.
Non-members are not entitled to guest privileges.
Your membership may be canceled without notice if you violate our code of conduct.
You affirm support of our Diversity & Inclusiveness Statement and agree to abide by our Code of Conduct and the Toronto Media Arts Centre Code of Conduct.
No storage of personal items is allowed in the coworking space. Any personal items are left in the space at your own risk. We do not guarantee the security of any of your belongings. We are not responsible if anything is broken or stolen on our premises.
You are responsible for your use of the common areas, furniture, and equipment. In other words, you break it, you buy it.
You may not engage in any illegal activity in the space.
Do not violate the rights of others, including right to privacy, confidentiality, and enjoyment of the space.
Do not disturb other members in the space or other tenants in the building. Please take loud and/or long cell phone conversations out of the coworking space.
You may purchase a Day Pass for up to 2 guests per day at a discounted rate. You are responsible for your guests, and they are also responsible for themselves.
We may change these rules from to time, and you agree to adhere to them.
Payment in full is due at the beginning of the calendar month. If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, we reserve the right to restrict your access to the space, or revoke your membership.
Membership may be revoked for any reason; you will be refunded for the remaining period of membership, if applicable.
Cancellations: Your membership will end at the end of the current billing month. No refunds will be given for voluntary cancellation.
Upgrades/Downgrades: A prorated credit will be applied to your account for your current plan; a prorated charge for the new plan will be applied.
